Wow I Need To Update My Blog More Often

Well there has been a lot going on since July. I flew to Fresno for my family reuion for a week and had a blast!! It was my first time ever flying and it was horrible! I took tons of pics so this blog will be a long one.

First off my first flight experience wasn't a good one, my flight was delayed for two hours because of a faulty door that wouldn't light up when it shut. I was suppose to arrive in Fresno around 3pm, but instead didnt get there till 6pm, it sucked. But when i finally arrived in fresno i had my wonderful neice and nephew there to greet me.

I wasn't in fresno very long my first day there. The next morning we were off to Manteca for the family reunion. We decided to camp out while me were there since it didnt cost very much, and we had all the essentials we needed such as: showers, toilets, and electricity! On our way we stopped in for lunch at carls Jr. I love this pic so much i had to post it up. My mom put some sponge curlers in her hair so that her hair would be "nice and curly" for the reunion weekend. So to hide them she wore this blue bandana to keep the curlers secure until she was ready to take them out. LOL...she wore this literally all day.

Here are some more pics of us trying to pitch the tent up, i dont think i was helping very much, and my mom trying to read the directions wasn't working, but in the end we accomplished what we started.





The next day was the first day of the family reunion, i was still really exhausted from my flight and all the traveling that i felt i should sit that day out and wait for the rest of the family to show up at the camp site. So while my parents were gone at my grandparents i decided to relax out by the beach

As nice as all these green grassy pics look, it was just as hot in Fresno as it was in Arizona at the time. I didnt even get a break from the heat!! but i did have that water to cool me off.
Later that day my sister and her family arrived. I thought it was really funny to take pics of the kids "helping" dad put up the tent, it was pretty funny to watch.


I think it was day 2 of the reunion when we did our competion. It was instead of "so you think you can dance" it was "so you think you can cook". it was a lot of fun, we had a certain amount of time to make whatever we wanted out of the ingredients provided. We decided that we were going to make home made oreos. We had pretend the ingredient that we picked to put in was our "dancing" partner and come up with a creative way of putting it into the bowl like our "dance". it was a lot of fun, so here are a couple of pics from that.


then after that we all went back to the camp site and decided to go fishing. The kids got ready along with their grandpa and went to the river. i watched of course and took some pics. my dad caught one which was pretty exciting, a nice size cat fish.

This picture here on the 3rd day of the reunion. I thought this pic was really sweet. This picture is on my dad and my niece cailey.

After taking this photo i though that since we are surrounded by nice secnery i thougth i would get a photo of my sister and her wonderful good looking family. Well here it is.....hahahah!...

Cailey for the life of her refused to smile for me. she just thought it was the most horrible thing i was making her do. so this is the wonderful picture i got. I told my sis that she should make this one her new family portrait photo. lol..

After fireside with the family i was able to get back to fresno and spend the rest of the sunday and monday i was there with greg's family and my bestest friend sonja(who is getting married in Dec.) i was able to spend sometime with by brother and sister in laws and our 2 neices Emily and Allison.


while i was there i barrowed greg's old van that his brother keeps so i could have a car to drive around in while i was there. It was scary to drive that thing when it has no side windows.


This is my bestest friend ever!!! i love her and miss her so much! it was nice to spend a day with her going to the nail salon, swimming and eating sushi. We had quite the adventure driving around in the van too :)


That was pretty much my trip, very short but did the best i could with my time. I have a really funny experience to share about my flight home. While i was in the fresno airport i bought kind of a big bag of m&m's that i could eat during the flight. While i was sitting in my seat listening to my ipod i decided to open that bad boy up and start munching. I was having a difficult time in trying to get the bag open and when it finally gave way the entire bag ripped and all my m&m's flew EVERYWHERE!! all you could hear in the silence was me saying "sh**!" i was so upset that i couldnt eat any of them!! this is the picture of all my m&m's in the crevis between my seat and the wall of the plane.



Also, it was Greg's birthday yesterday!! he turned the big 26. Greg isn't much for parties for his birthday so i decided that since it was the Office premiere too i thought it would be fun to have some friends over to watch it. So it wasn't called his birthday party it was an Office party. We enjoyed having our friends over we had some good food and great laughter. Thanks guys!!!
